"Growing Number Of Indians Stop Looking For Work": Where Are The Jobs?

According to reports, CMIE data shows that a growing number of Indians are choosing to exit the labour force entirely. In an interview with NDTV, CMIE MD & CEO Mahesh Vyas explains why he thinks this is happening. "A large part of the working age population is unable to find a job in spite of sustained efforts to get one. It is out of dejection that they leave the labour force", he says.
