From a dispensary in 1845 to King George Hospital in 1923 - a rough road to medical care in Vizag

A civil hospital in the Vizagapatam district headquarters was constructed in 1923 and named as King George Hospital. KGH will complete its 100 years of existence this year. But it had its humble beginning as a civil dispensary in 1845.
