Ground Report: Wheat Worth Crores Rot In Haryana, Could've Fed 70 Lakh

Wheat worth Rs 82 crore is now rotten. Wheat that could have fed 70 lakh poor people in India now gone to waste. This story of rotting wheat is perhaps an indication of why despite surplus production of food grains India is still at the 100th spot on the hunger index.
