Visakhapatnam: Activists demand protection of glacial period coastal red sand dunes

With the hacking of trees and levelling of land near the coastal red sand dunes, popularly known as Erra Matti Dibbalu (EMD) in Vizag city for the alleged development of layouts, activists of various groups have raised voice for the protection of the glacial period coastal red-sand dunes citing that the layouts will damage the rare marine geological formation.
